General for ICC, Warning To Zanu (PF)
Written by Human Rights Watch
Thursday, 21 March 2013 22:44

ntagandaIn the end the only thing that Bosco Ntaganda was thinking of was to save his life, and he discovered that the International Criminal Court, where he is wanted for crimes against humanity was a better alternative him - they are more civil over there.

This similar fate awaits many of Zimbabwe's top securocrats in the military, police and intelligence, unless they start seriously taking up the offer of security sector reform. Forcing Mugabe or any other Zanu (PF) leader to stay in power by repression is no longer sustainable.

(Washington, DC) – The United States government indicated it would send the Congolese rebel leader Bosco Ntaganda to the International Criminal Court (ICC) to be tried for grave international crimes. Ntaganda turned himself in to the US embassy in Kigali, Rwanda, on March 18, 2013.

Malema's Louis Vuitton Socialism Collapses
Written by CZ Correspondent

malemaBW1The surprising thing about fomer African National Congress Youth League leader Julius Malema, whose fall from grace has now been completed by the forfieture of a farm that he is accused of having used for money laundering, is how much of a fortune he had made, with nobody raising an eyebrow, until he challenged the ANC leadership - maybe with some encouragement from Harare.

Despite the obvious contradictions in his life as a rich anti-capitalist, poor people, and even "revolutionaries" listened to him and put him on a pedestal as a possible redeemer of South Africa's aborted socialist revolution.

IOL looks at what he had accumulated, raising the question whether nobody knew what he was up to, or how many were complicit with the Zanu (PF)-supporting Louis Vuitton socialist.

MugabeCommunionMugabe goes all the way to the Vatican take to take communion though he is suspicious that the Catholic Church does not treat Africans equally

President Robert Mugabe, born in a Jesuit Mission, must rue his decision to go to The Vatican to witness the enthronement of Pope Francis, also a Jesuit, who seemed to devote his inaugural mass to telling off the Zimbabwean dictator.

Mugabe takes advantage of any opportunity he can to visit The West, whose leaders have placed travel sanctions on him for his human rights violations, but this time he was forced to fire back at Pope Francis' remarks which he must have taken personally.

membemugabesal

Rather than having tea at State House, SADC Observers should be at Rotten Row and in the strees seeing how the Prime Minister's officers and human rights defenders are being persecuted. Zimbabwe cannot have free and fair elections without implementing reforms agreed 4 years ago, particularly security and media reforms.
