He says life is still very difficult in Zimbabwe; people are living on the hope that the next election will bring change, but this hope is also tainted because the military is in de facto control and is not going to accept to transfer power to the winner of a democratic election.

Anti-Corruption Commission, Election Violence Probes Halted

The government of national unity is no longer cropping out to what was expected of it, with the inclusive government now being accused of covering up for corrupt officials stopping the establishment of the Anti-corruption Commission, and now the President reportedly saying nobody will be prosecuted for political violence.
