President Robert Mugabe, Than Shwe of Burma and Omar Hassan Al-Bashir of Sudan are listed among 40 worst dictators around the world, oppressing 1.9 billion people, and rendering their nations failed states with collapsed economies, no matter how rich the countries may be in natural resources. Mugabe is listed third according to perfidy, cultural betrayal, and economic devastation.

The MDC UK rebel camp is in disarray, its leader Stanford Biti, accused of "borrowing" fundrising money with the help of camp member, South Beds Luton vice-chair Suzette Kwenda, while their erstwhile public relations man, Peter Nyoni, seems to have turned against the group. Both Biti and Kwenda led a dirty campaign against the MDC UK executive led by Jonathan Chawora, leading to its suspension which has left the province with little activity going on in most branches. |

The UK diaspora community will have an opportunity to input into the ongoing constitution-making process through an initiative by the Zimbabwe Constitution Consultation Coalition (ZIMCC) made up of 17 UK-based Zimbabwean organisations. The project manager Qobo Mayisa, told changezimbabwe.com that reports that the Constitutional Parliamentary Committee (Copac) is having financial difficulties were true, but it did not mean that the diaspora cannot participate in the constitution-making. |
